Karthikeyan enters the big league

Well it's great see an Indian ride on the F1 circuit, finally. The F1 sport has long been dominated by the Europeans and South Americans, and to finally see an Indian out there, is very heartening.

I guess media reports have pointed out the role his sponsors have played in getting him to graduate to F1. Apparently millions were paid, to the Jordan team, as part of the deal. But the important think is, he is in there now. He had been driving in the F4 circuit for sometime and gained some valuable experience. He's just got to back himself now, I know millions of his fans are.

His maiden ride at the Australian Formula One Grand Prix was not eventful, but we all know he has a long way to go. Let's all hope for the best.

I can finally cheer for someone other than Michael Schumacher :) ... he still remains the best though.
